Resuming vacations
My vacations went fine, but I have to resume from them, so I don't have many time to catch up things. So, here's a small blog post, probably the only for today, with ten links you might find interesting:
- A new compilation CD is out, with "Interlude" from my musical project "Merankorii"
- Hack A Day PT - one event, one day, a dozen hackers, several projects... The first "HackADay" is already being planned
- ruby << portuguese :: A ruby community trying to gather all Portuguese ruby programmers in one common place
- Íon is a new band from Duncan Petterson (ex-Anathema, ex-Antimatter) and the first album will soon be out
- Two tech events in Braga, Portugal - at the 8th and 9th this month
- re-release of Chapter II in TENHI’s “Airut-saga" - mine is going to be ordered today
- ANSOL, the Portuguese Free Software Association, has a new website
- Most of you by now already know about the agreement between Microsoft and Novell, but not about what's already being made. Fuck you Novell, fuck you Microsoft!
- YouTube pays for copyrighted content to music labels, but they declare the money as investiment and not profit, so artists don't get any money from it
- Finally, the Portuguese Police made an agreement with Microsoft to enhance... SECURITY? WTF?
